Join us for a fun series of Summer Art Classes for students entering grades 1 – 12 with Alexis Starke beginning on Wednesday, July 2nd.

With summer themed projects, we will explore a variety of materials and techniques, drawing inspiration from art history, contemporary artists, the natural world, and our beautiful surroundings in Piermont!  Weather permitting, we will go outside some weeks.

Summer Reading for Kids may be over for 2025, but Summer Reading for Adults and Teens continues through August. Stop by the library anytime we are open and fill out a raffle ticket for each book you read this summer.  Each week, we will draw a winner for a $15 gift certificate to Bunbury’s!

Our Adult Book Club meets once a month to have a lively discussion about a new book.  Members work together to pick a variety of books and new members are always welcome!  Please call or email the library to be added to our email list (info@piermontlibrary.org). 

Adult Book Club is currently meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 pm unless otherwise stated.  

Our selection for June is The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali.

Calling all preschoolers! We have two special programs for you on Wednesdays with Ms. Nancy!

Join us on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 2:45 pm for Talking to Two’s- a drop-in program for children 2-years-oldwith an adult with stories, songs, and pre-literacy activities.

Then join us from 3 – 4 pm for Fun for 3’s and 4’s! We will make new friends, read new books, and play new literacy games.  This program is free and open to all. Recommended for ages 3 – 5.
