New members are always welcome to join our Adult Book Club! We meet once a month to have a lively discussion about a new book.   Please call or email the library to be added to our email list (info@piermontlibrary.org). We currently meet the third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 pm.  

Our selection for August is Songbirds by Christy Lefteri.

Join us on Thursday, August 28th for the next class in our popular series Create and Sip for Adults with Alexis Starke.  For August, we will wrap up summer by taking inspiration from the glorious paper cut-outs of French artist Henri Matisse and the ocean.  We will first create a color block background with acrylic paints and then sharpen our scissor skills with collage cut-outs.

All of our Create and Sip projects are designed to be fun and inspiring for all levels of experience from beginners on up.

Each participant will receive chocolates and a mini bottle of wine.  Feel free to bring other refreshments if you wish. All art materials will be included. Please register on our website events calendar at piermontlibrary.org

Please note new day and time for Storytime with Ms. Nancy- we are now meeting on Wednesdays from 10:30 – 11:00 am. Join us for some early reading fun with songs and fingerplay and of course new friends! No registration necessary.

Join us at St. Catharine’s in Blauvelt on Tuesday, August 5th, from 7:00 – 7:45 pm for Science Heroes: Adventure of the Missing Color. The entire audience gets involved throughout the show.
