For the month of September, the Library presents Assemblages etc. by Ralph Olsen. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, September 8th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. All are welcome.
Artist’s Statement from Ralph Olsen
“Creativity is not a hobby, it’s a way of life.”
As a retired architect, I had to find an outlet for my creative “juices.” I tried painting on driftwood, photography, collage, and, most recently, assemblage. As an inveterate saver of all things, I find assemblage to be the ideal medium for me. I hope my artistic endeavors convey my love of life.
