Travel with me on a trip through Sicily, to World Heritage Sites. See intricate floor mosaics in a Villa which has survived since the 4th century AD! Walk with us 30 ft. underground to a 6th century Jewish Mikveh or Bath that had once been hidden from the public & then unearthed in1989. Learn about foods that originated in Sicily like, Chick Pea Panelle, Busiate Pasta, Arancini, Cannoli, Caponata, Cassatta. Join us as we accompany a friend to his ancestral town where he was thrilled to find the house that had once belonged to his grandparents. Delight in the Art! Food! History! Discovery!
Loretta Tito taught at the Upper Nyack Elementary School for 32 years. Now retired, she’s an avid gardener and a Master Gardener Volunteer with Cornell Cooperative Extension. She’s active in a study group that requires research followed by oral reports.

Join us on Thursday, April 3rd, from 10:30 – 11:30 am for Gentle Yoga with Katie Stoeckeler! Classes will be slow-paced and will focus on participants finding proper alignment and support within each posture. We will move through a series of gentle movements, connecting body with breath.
