We invite you to stop by the Library anytime in April to see our Art Show of the Month- Piermont in Plain Sight: Photographs by Mitch Eiss.
Photography allows us the ability to create an image that mirrors our own unique perspective. It’s an attempt to convey our experience with the viewer, and if successful, maybe understand the “why” behind the photograph. It’s a tall order. There are times when we can previsualize what we want to convey and other times when we have a split second to press the shutter. It means shooting with intention. Ultimately, for me, it’s finding beauty in the ordinary and mundane, and in plain sight.
The 27 images in this exhibit include photos made in the Village and its surrounding area.
