Join us for the latest in our popular series of art classes for kids! For winter, we are offering a series of live video art classes with the theme of New York City’s magical Metropolitan Museum of Art. We have two sections- Mondays at 5 for grades 1 – 3 and Wednesdays at 5 for grades 4 and up. Details and registration are on our events calendar on our website.
For each project we will take inspiration from some popular works at the Met which celebrated its 150th birthday in 2020. Taught by Alexis Starke, these classes are designed to explore a variety of art materials and techniques as well as creative thinking, problem solving, and self-expression in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. This series will run from mid-January through early April and follow the school calendar. Some materials will be provided. Classes will be kept small for individual attention.
